Honest answers to what you're really wondering

FAQs

What's the cost?
Early bird 2-day pass: $250. Regular 2-day pass: $280. Single-day pass (Day 1 or Day 2): $150
What you get for that: 12 hours with a pro vocalist, performance experience, take-home resources, new skills, and probably some new friends. Compare that to private lessons (usually $80+ per hour) and it's pretty great value.

Where do i book?
We've set up a Humantix page which you can access here.

What if I'm too shy to sing alone?
No pressure at all. You can stick with group singing the whole time if you want. Angela’s great at creating safe spaces for introverts.

What if my voice cracks or I sound terrible?
Voice cracks are totally normal (and honestly, kind of charming). Angela’s been working with teen voices for 25+ years – she gets it.

Will this help if I want to audition for things?
Absolutely. The confidence and technique you learn transfer to any singing situation.

Is this just for kids who want to be professional singers?
Nope! Most participants just love music and want to get better at something they enjoy.

What if I can’t come both days?
You can do just one day and you will still feel like you had a great day, but the two-day experience is way better – Day 1 builds the foundation, Day 2 brings the confidence.

Who is this for?
Teens aged 12–17 who love singing – whether they’ve had lessons before or just sing in the shower.

Do I need any singing experience?
Not at all. You’ll be guided through everything, and the workshop is designed to suit all levels.

What should I bring?
A water bottle, lunch, snacks, and a notebook if you want to jot down tips. Wear something comfortable you can move in.

Can parents watch?
Not during the sessions – it helps everyone feel more relaxed. We may have a short showcase at the end for families to see what we’ve been working on.

Where is it and how do I get there?
We’re at Loev in Moorabbin, close to public transport (bus 811/812 to Christensen St) and with street parking nearby.

What time does it run?
10am–4pm each day, with breaks for lunch and snacks.

Is lunch provided?
No – please bring your own. There are also food options nearby if needed.

Is it safe?
Yes – all facilitators have Working With Children Checks and the venue is fully insured.
